Island Tours is an European group of tour operators recognized as Specialists in Iceland. Formerly part of the Icelandair Group as incoming tour operator, the various offices became private in 1997 and kept their activity of selling Iceland as main destination. The Island Tours Group was then founded, including Holland, Italy, Norway, Spain and Sweden.

The Group philosophy is to cooperate in the product and liaisons with partners and suppliers, thus keeping the needed independence as a single country to be able to offer the right product for every single market served: a common view of the type of product, the same experience and knowledge, but still the possibility of “taylorize” the offer for the market of the country each office belongs to.

Our strength are our skills, knowledge and passion for Iceland, a country we all deeply love, and our strong relationship and cooperation with our partners and suppliers, which are chosen amongst the best in the travel trade. Every single country office adds to Iceland other destinations, all in line with the philosophy and target of Iceland: our goal is to keep being recognized as the real Specialists in Iceland, and eventually offer other destinations that can get well in line with the same idea of travel.
